- How do I enroll my child?
You can enroll by simply sending an email to us at peakeduwaterloo@gmail.com. Our staff will respond shortly and schedule a meeting with you to discuss about the expectations and the goals you wish to achieve with Peak Edu!
- How flexible are the tutors?
Although we are all high school students, we are highly flexible when it comes to scheduling classes, and we will make sure to sort out the best possible solution between the student and the tutor!
Note: we do require students to cancel classes and schedule in advance so we have some cushion time to plan it ahead! - How does payment work?
There are a number of ways you could transfer the payments, including e-transfer, paypal, and cash (depending on location). We are also looking forward to open up further payment methods, so please reach out to us if you have any suggestions!
- Can I apply as a tutor?
Absolutely! We are happy to see new faces! To apply, simply email us at peakeduwaterloo@gmail.com and schedule a short interview with us to test your knowledge and other essentials skills we look for in a tutor, such as communication, productivity and teaching styles. We might also ask you to complete a short diagnostic exam or provide your school transcript to help us better evaluate your knowledge. Looking forward to seeing you!
- Are refunds available?
Full refunds are available for the cancellation of the whole course (e.g. no longer needs tutoring but prepaid the fees), and we also provide full refund if tutors failed to provide proper assistance. We do require students or parents to cancel the class 8 hours in advance, and the cancelled classes will be accumulated as 'credits' to be rescheduled another time with the tutor. Missed classes, including failing to cancel in advance, will be charged and no refunds nor credits will be available.
- The subject my child wants is not in your services provided
Great question asked! In those scenarios, we would try to seek tutors who may be interested and qualify for teaching. Stay tuned and we will contact you when we found a tutor that fits your needs!
